Our Story
Our Story
In Japan's listening bars, sound is sacred. Emerging from postwar café culture, these intimate rooms were built for deep listening, with DJs playing rare vinyl on high-fidelity systems tuned for warmth and clarity. The pleasure is in being fully with the music.
Saikindō, a Hi-Fi cocktail lounge, brings the tradition of Japan's legendary listening bars to this region. The spaces pay homage to Japanese Metabolism architecture, mid-century speaker craftsmanship and Bōsōzoku biker culture. Shallow wooden speaker domes are built into the walls in vertical grids, tuned to disperse warm, even sound across the rooms.
A synesthesia-driven cocktail menu brings this vision to life, translating sound into flavour. A.I. maps the basslines, tempos and melodies of twelve tracks to shape Aji No Hibiki, "Resonance of Flavour," a menu inspired by songs from 90s hip hop to soul and R&B. Japanese whiskey, sake and shōchū anchor the spirits program. Guided by Omotenashi, Saikindō draws you into a world where sound becomes flavour and presence is effortless.

The Bar
The Hi-Fi Bar is Saikindō's beating heart. Behind the bar, a DJ plays select vinyl through a precision audiophile system for an intimate audience, while the bartenders mix cocktails shaped by the music. At the counter, sound and craft surround you.
